There is just something about cream cheese icing that brings a whole new level of delight compared to a traditional buttercream. I have a number of cakes that are the perfect base for cream cheese icing. The most popular are a cah-razy good carrot cake, but it is not to be outdone by the fabulous Italian Cream Cake.
Serving as a champion alternative during the holidays, and maybe making an appearance throughout the year as well, this pumpkin mousse dessert is simply unbelievable. While labor-intensive, the reward is SOooo good, and it displays spectacularly on the table.
